Tweedy has extensive experience in the apparel industry, having worked for Ralph Lauren Womenswear, Spike Lee products, and most recently as vice president of Karl Kani Jeans.
TWIsM is an acronym that stands for "The World Is Mine". O'Neal uses the positive message frequently to inspire young people, especially inner-city youth, to recognize their potential and strive to be their best.
The year-old company is currently located in Gloucester, Mass., and is in the process of securing a Los Angeles headquarters and manufacturing facility. TWIsM designs and produces a line of clothing featuring shirts, pants, shorts, outerwear, caps, bags and accessories with leading edge fashion.
TWIsM's Spring marketing effort will soon roll out with print and radio advertising, signage and shops, and in-store and campus promotions. The Fall 1997 collection will be unveiled at the M.A.G.I.C. show in Las Vegas in late February.
